Waipukurau Operational Support

The Waipukurau Volunteer Fire Brigade respond to all calls in the Waipukurau district and their 2 Operational Support personnel attend calls alongside the firefighters. The Brigade averages approximately 160 calls per year and the prime role of the Op Support is to provide traffic management, scene safety and lighting, first aid, establishing water supplies and post incident cleanup. Both members are trained to Medical Co-Response level and can respond to any medical calls the Waipukurau Brigade receive.
