Kaikoura Operational Support
Kaikoura sits on the East Coast between Blenheim and Christchurch. The Kaikoura Volunteer Fire Brigade has a variety of vehicles - 2 pumps, a tanker, rural pump, and an op support/medical response ute.
The Bridade mostly get called to structural fires, MVCs, herbage fire and medical calls, and they respond to around 120 calls per year. The Operational Support members provide all tasks on the fireground, except front line firefighting.
