Omakau Operational Support

Omakau is located between Alexandra and Ranfurly on the northwest bank of the Manuherikia River. The Omakau Volunteer Fire Brigade has a membership of around 15, which includes a few Operational Support members.
The Brigade mainly responds to medical calls and car accidents. Operational Support members provide Medical Response services, and Traffic Management at calls.
