Shannon Operational Support

Shannon is located about 30km south of Palmerston North. The Operational Support members are very efficient and offer a variety of skills including assist medical, hose assist and stand-pipes, traffic control, station admin, and firewise awareness.
The Shannon VFB typically uses the Operational Support role as a stepping stone for newer members to promote to becoming Operational BA firefighters.
